Apprentice (Social Care Worker)

Since April 2016 we announced we are working together with colleges to provide Apprentice Social Care Workers to East Anglia areas such as Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex as well  as to areas which contain a larger quantity of the population like London, Eastbourne and Manchester to work assignments on a temporary or longer term basis in organisational settings such as:
  • Nursing and  residential care homes
  • Independent hospitals
  • Rehabilitation centres
  • Schools, colleges and universities
  • Domiciliary Care providers
  • Nursing agency providers
  • Sheltered housing

We predominantly aim to supply agency staff to organisations which may be either independent or non-profit making.

As the majority  of population is living longer due to having a healthy lifestyle. We want to provide the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to work in healthcare accommodation by offering people aged between 18-24 the chance to do an apprenticeship. We feel this would be a chance to break down the barriers between the age gap. The main benefit of doing an apprenticeship is that the apprentice gets a chance to gain work experience while studying for 18 months to help improve the quality of life for the service users our communities and achieve nationally recognised qualifications.
