Victoria Care Services Ltd  are looking for caring and passionate individuals to join our team of Shift Pattern Worker (Social Care Worker), providing support to our clients in the comfort of their who leave in Nursing and Residential Care Worker.
We are holding immediate interviews for the following areas: Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Cromer, Mundesley, North Washam.
Short Description
  • Submit availabilities
  • Submit attendance performance
  • Able to work alone or as a team
  • Good customer services for visits, family or friends. Our Social Care Workers will have the following duties when applicable:
  • Assisting customer to get up, dressing and preparing them for their day.
  • Support with washing, bathing, showering, oral care, grooming.
  • Continence management
  • Toileting, assisting with use of commode, emptying commode.
  • Using manual handling equipment as specified
  • Working with other professionals such as nurses, district nurse, GPs
  • Assisting customer to go to bed, including undressing and washing

We have various shifts available, for full and part time across 7 days; with a requirement of weekend work.

Apprentices ( Social Care Worker)







Introduction

I would like to introduce our organisation Victoria Care Services Ltd is a Shift Pattern Nursing agency that was established in 2011. We enrol and supply Registered Nurses, Senior Care Workers,Social Care Workers and Assistant Teachers and since April 2016 we announced we are working together with colleges to provide Apprentice Social Care Workers to East Anglia areas such as Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex as well  as to areas which contain a larger quantity of the population like London, Eastbourne and Manchester to work assignments on a temporary or longer term basis in organisational settings such as:
  • Nursing and  residential care homes
  • Independent hospitals
  • Rehabilitation centres
  • Schools, colleges and universities
  • Domiciliary Care providers
  • Nursing agency providers
  • Sheltered housing

We predominantly aim to supply agency staff to organisations which may be either independent or non-profit making.
As the majority  of population is living longer due to having a healthy lifestyle. We want to provide the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to work in healthcare accommodation by offering people aged between 18-24 the chance to do an apprenticeship. We feel this would be a chance to break down the barriers between the age gap. The main benefit of doing an apprenticeship is that the apprentice gets a chance to gain work experience while studying for 18 months to help improve the quality of life for the service users our communities and achieve nationally recognised qualifications.

The role involves all aspects of recruiting including:
·New business development-cold and warm calling to generate business, lead generation and selling yourself and Victoria care services to clients
·Developing relationships with clients (both new and existing) in order to maximise sales revenue
·Proactively seeking to partner clients in order to gain commitment - i.e exclusivity on vacancies, interview slots, client visits , time for feedback
·Registering candidates and qualifying their up to date situation including - work history, rate or salary expectations , notice period , availability and any additional information necessary
·Resourcing - via database search, advertising, job boards, LinkedIn , referrals and networking
·Interviewing candidates , both via the phone and face to face-selling and briefing them on opportunities and ascertaining suitability for positions
·Screening and shortlisting candidates
·Attending client meetingsvbon site in order to build stronger relationships and gain market knowledge
·Negotiating Terms of Business and salaries/ contract rates
·Arranging interviews - ensuring candidates are fully informed and prepared for interview
·Providing detailed feedback to candidates
·Reference checking in order to build contacts and gain market information
